Cavazos was nominated for the coveted Panasonic Schools of Change Award last fall along with 714 schools from 44 states. Mr. Mike Worth, Cavazos Principal, and Assistant Principal, Mrs. Marti Makuta attended the Schools of Change award ceremony in NYC where they were recognized for placing in the top 20 schools that have made significant improvement.  Congratulations Cavaliers!
